The good old field horsetail is an undemanding plant that is particularly suitable for planting along the edges of water bodies. Especially the evergreen, tall stems are the reason why the plant is often planted at ponds and lakes. They do not obscure the view of the pond and sway beautifully in the wind. Due to the stoloniferous growth, a rhizome barrier is recommended, otherwise the horsetail will quickly spread over the entire water’s edge.
